A slight obsession with the Nissan Murano

murano-1

“Murano! There’s another Murano.” It’s our own version of punchbuggy, but instead of introducing one another’s fists to arms, my better half and I exchange admiring stares towards this uniquely designed transportation device.

I’ve been an obsessed a fan for several years, and have longed for one of these pretty imports since I first set my eyes upon one. If I had the required documentation (a license) to move a Murano from point A (the dealer) to point B (my garage), I would have long ago, but that special day won’t be too far down the road (I hope).

“The name Murano comes from a region of Venice, Italy which is known for the hand blown glass produced there.” That’s as deep as I want to go into info about the Murano, and will let the pictures speak for themselves. I will say, since the 2008 model, they’ve modified the grill and rear lights not to my liking, but I’d still buy one in a heartbeat (maybe an ‘07 model as seen in the first two attached pics).

And if a certain someone is reading this, please add one of these to my Christmas wishlist ;)

Very fun car to drive. The size is absolutely perfect.

Absolutely. It’s almost in between an SUV and crossover in size. I think it’s the perfect combination of shape and definition, or at least one of the best on the road today for under six figures.

  2. I don’t think any SUV beats the looks of the Audi Q7 though. Sucks that its double the price of a Murano though :/

  3. Hello, darling. I just finished reading your lovely post about the Murano.

If I get you your dream car, you have to get me this: http://tinyurl.com/ygbtkoj. It’s a fair trade. Plus, you would look great on the back :)

Where’s the roof on that thing? ;)

  4. I would take a long serious look at the Infiniti EX35, before jumping on a Murano.
