“Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans”
I’m a couple weeks shy of my three-month marker as a nine-to-fiver. That, along with a more than pleasantly active personal life, top the list for my excuses for letting this blog get stagnantly inactive.
But let’s be honest here, if my job and relationship have me occupied around the clock, I don’t have much to complain about. Having reached the one year marker with my better half nearly a month ago to the day, I am ecstatically in love. And as a designer, I’m in one of the most dynamic positions I’ve ever held–almost a real-life Foursquare–as I take on more roles and the responsibility badges that come with each of them.
With plans to move in with the love of my life a month or so from now, as well as the possibility of taking on a larger role at work, all while hoping to launch a few of my long-overdue business ideas on the side, chances are I’ll be re-quoting John Lennon a few more times this year.
